RACE 1: Greyville Racecourse
ANGELICUS gets the nod as a debutant for the in-form Dennis Bosch and can prove useful on first run out of barrier 1. GOODTIME GUY showed plenty of potential when 6th on debut only 4 lengths back and could unlock plenty now upped to 7f.
Top Tip – ANGELICUS (1)
One to consider – GOODTIME GUY (4)
RACE 2: Greyville Racecourse
FULL BLAST has been bronze medallist in both runs to date and won’t have to dig too deep to improve enough to score in his own right. ALFREDO was last seen touched off by a head in first-time blinkers on the AW here and if he brings that effort to turf can find compensation.
Top Tip – FULL BLAST (1)
One to consider – ALFREDO (3)
RACE 3: Greyville Racecourse
COLOUR OF LIGHT has improved plenty since joining Duncan Howells and if she can bring those improvements back to the turf she’s a good chance at reopening the account. ROYAL VIEW can make a dent off his recent form but has a poor draw to work with.
Top Tip – COLOUR OF LIGHT (2)
One to consider – ROYAL VIEW (8)
RACE 4: Greyville Racecourse
SWAGGER JAGGER has improved plenty since the re-addition of blinkers and won’t have to improve much on his recent efforts to get the 2020 account open. HAIL COLUMBIA was an eye-catching 2nd on debut and came back and scored when upped to this trip at Scottsville. He’ll have his say at the finish line here.
Top Tip – SWAGGER JAGGER (1)
One to consider – HAIL COLUMBIA (4)
RACE 5: Greyville Racecourse
MORE THAN A DIME has barrier 1 to launch a successful return to winning ways, he’s often drawn poorly of late and it has taken its toll. Now in pole position this track and trip winner might be able to restore some prestige. SACRED BLUES is also well-drawn and entitled to improve on her comeback run that saw her under 2 lengths from the winner when 5th.
Top Tip – MORE THAN A DIME (1)
One to consider – SACRED BLUES (3)
RACE 6: Greyville Racecourse
DUTCH ALLEY is a trip winner who hasn’t run a bad race of late, out of barrier 2 he’s going to be the one to beat. TILLIEANGUS could make a splash on local debut after a handful of solid runs over this trip at other courses.
Top Tip – DUTCH ALLEY (2)
One to consider – TILLIEANGUS (4)
RACE 7: Greyville Racecourse
ELECTRIC SURGE is of interest going back up to 10f. Her sole attempt was on polytrack and was not fruitful. Now trying it on turf where she does her best work she’s worth chancing. ZAGARA can make a dent as a trip winner who is making yard debut for Dennis Bosch.
Top Tip – ELECTRIC SURGE (1)
One to consider – ZAGARA (2)
RACE 8: Greyville Racecourse
CLOUDS OF WITNESS is a track and trip winner making return from a short break and is entitled to plenty of improvement over his ideal venue. SILVER ROSE won over track and trip on his sole attempt and is talented enough an operator to enter the equation if in the mood.
Top Tip – CLOUDS OF WITNESS (1)
One to consider – SILVER ROSE (3)
RACE 9: Greyville Racecourse
FREESTATE STAR ran her best to date when 3rd on the AW from barrier 8. Now launching back on turf from barrier 1 she can take the step forward needed to score on third attempt. TREASURED PEARL was an eye-catching 33/1 3rd on debut over 6f here and now upped to the extended mile and experienced could go much better.
Top Tip – FREESTATE STAR (1)
One to consider – TREASURED PEARL (4)
