THIRD TIME LUCKI is a two time bumper winner making hurdle bow after a superb 4th in the Champion Bumper. If he can bring that standard to hurdles he will be tough to beat. CANASTERO has been in the money in all 3 bumper runs and can make a seamless transition to hurdles.

WILDE ABOUT OSCAR makes hurdle debut after 251 days off following a solid 4th in a Listed bumper at Newbury and sets a high standard with plenty of support in the betting likely. GIVE US A SWIG won his only point-to-point outing and is worth a look on rules bow.

RACE 3: Uttoxeter Racecourse
NAIZAGAI scored with a superb 5 ½ in hand on hurdle debut at Cartmel in August and returns having had a wind operation. He should be able to remain competitive off a 7lb penalty and looks good for a double. MAGNA MORALIA was a pleasing runner up on his own hurdle bow and can confirm or go one better today.

CANELO makes season comeback after 229 days and a 6lb rise following an impressive win in heavy ground at Huntingdon last time. If he’s stripping fit he’ll be hard to stop. NORTHOFTHEWALL is very interesting on chase bow having won his last 2 hurdle runs by 19 and 24 lengths respectively and can claim a cross-code hat trick.

RACE 5: Uttoxeter Racecourse
ESPION makes handicap bow having opened the account by 11 lengths here back in March. He’s useful in the wet and has plenty of scope for improvement. SUPREMELY LUCKY is respected as a course and distance winner who is making season debut after 302 days off and wind surgery, with first-time cheekpieces fitted. He rattled the crossbar in his last 3 chases of 2019 and can seek compensation.

EASY BUCKS was a promising runner up on his first chase appearance at Plumpton and made good on that promise when scoring by 11 lengths here 12 days ago. He’s carrying a 7lb penalty but a similar effort will see him steam home. SHANTY ALLEY is entitled to bounce back after falling 3 out on his last appearance at Southwell which he was looking to win. He’s got a useful 5lb claimer booked and tries first-time cheekpieces.
