TWILIGHT HEIR missed by a short head at Fairyhouse on debut and now back at minimum trip can make compensation on bow for Michael Bell. THE GOLDEN UNICORN was 2nd on debut here behind a smart rival who has won since and can make it right or settle for 2nd again.
Top Tip – TWILIGHT HEIR (3)
One to consider – THE GOLDEN UNICORN (2)
RACE 2: Bath Racecourse
BAY WATCH is a track and trip winner coming back for more. No stranger to this course he carries 5lb more but is likely to strike again. NIBRAS AGAIN has won over course and distance too and after a couple of promising return runs on the turf is threatening off a mark of 66.
Top Tip – BAY WATCH (1)
One to consider – NIBRAS AGAIN (3)
RACE 3: Bath Racecourse
DAHIK makes debut for the Evans Yard following a 4th place run at Leicester indicating he’s back in form. A new handler might steer him back to success. BOOROWA hit the crossbar 2 runs ago and with a mediocre pipe opener at Leicester out of the way can go one better off a shorter trip today.
Top Tip – DAHIK (7)
One to consider – BOOROWA (4)
RACE 4: Bath Racecourse
SILENT AGENDA won comfortably at Ripon when last seen and can overcome a 7lb hike to strike again. COME ON GIRL scored by a head over this trip at Lingfield but the handicapper has begun to catch up with the latest 6lb rise looking to be nearing the her limit.
Top Tip – SILENT AGENDA (3)
One to consider – COME ON GIRL (10)
RACE 5: Bath Racecourse
SHOOT TO KILL shed the maiden tag here over 5f with the first time application of cheekpieces. He now goes up in trip into the handicap ranks and keeping the headgear can go back to back. CITY WALK found the rivals too good at Royal Ascot in the Holyroodhouse but will be better for the experience and now back down in grade can keep learning.
Top Tip – SHOOT TO KILL (4)
One to consider – CITY WALK (1)
RACE 6: Bath Racecourse
SINGING THE BLUES is a well-handicapped track and trip winner who can do a lot of damage off a rating of 67. He placed when carrying 4lb more at Kempton in June and is the danger. FORESEE comes off a pleasing 2nd on return to turf at Doncaster and can go one better over a similar trip.
Top Tip – SINGING THE BLUES (4)
One to consider – FORESEE (5)
RACE 7: Bath Racecourse
ANNO MAXIMO hit 4th on handicap debut at Leicester in June and can go a couple better now sporting a visor. He enjoys this trip and has much more to show. COSTELLO was just over a length behind the winner at Leicester when 4th last month and a similar effort today can see him make the frame.
Top Tip – ANNO MAXIMO (2)
One to consider – COSTELLO (1)
RACE 8: Bath Racecourse
SEARCHING comes off a hurdles victory at Market Rasen last week and showed plenty of pace to keep up on the flat and makes a lot of sense to back off a mark of 61. HIDDEN DEPTHS was third here last month and drops in trip while trying the hood out, can go a couple better with a new approach.
Top Tip – SEARCHING (1)
One to consider – HIDDEN DEPTHS (4)
